Mariana Valenzuela is the director of community partnerships and civic engagement at Centro Cultural and is a former assistant professor of world languages at Pacific University She was appointed to the Forest Grove City Council in December 2019 to fill the term of the late Tom Johnston. Her program will revolve around diversity, equity and inclusion.
