FOREST GROVE, Oregon (June 5, 2024) – The Rotary Club of Forest Grove welcomes the community to its 66th annual Steak Feed on Friday, June 14, 5-8 p.m., at the University Center at Pacific University.
A longstanding community event, proceeds from the Steak Feed directly benefit the club’s involvement in the Rotary Youth Exchange program, which provides opportunities for a Forest Grove High School student to study abroad and for an international student to spend in a year in the community.
The Rotary Club of Forest Grove has the longest involvement in the Rotary Youth Exchange program of any club in the region. Internationally, the Rotary Youth Exchange program provides exchange opportunities to thousands of youth ages 15-19. Exchanges are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.
“Youth programs are a cornerstone of the service we provide to the community and involvement in Rotary Youth Exchange is a major part of that service,” said Amy Tracewell, 2023-24 president of the Rotary Club of Forest Grove. “We hope to see the community come out on June 14, learn more about Youth Exchange and Rotary and help us continue to give youth exceptional cultural and educational opportunities.
Meals at the Steak Feed include a barbequed New York steak, baked potato, beans, rolls and salad. Beverage and dessert are also included in the ticket price. To-go meals will be available at no additional charge.
Tickets to the Steak Feed are $25 each and can be purchased from any member of the Rotary Club of Forest Grove. Tickets can also be purchased on site the night of the event.
